James is a founding member of Metrowest and is the Managing Director of Metrowest Constructions. He has worked in the building industry for over 30 years. James began his career as an electrical and communications tradesman before pursuing his passion for construction by completing a diploma of Construction Management. Stimulated by the many facets of the construction industry, James keeps abreast of all project developments and is consistently committed to providing a quality outcome for each and every client.
James’ strength in property development has allowed Metrowest’s business to diversify. Metrowest offers a full suite of services including property sourcing, joint venture options, custom design and construct projects, long-term leasing and property management. James is proud to have overseen the growth of Metrowest’s expertise in technically challenging projects. His dedication has provided effective leadership and direction for the Metrowest team.
Vin has been in the electrical industry for over 35 years and is a founder of Metrowest. Vin’s commitment to developing management systems has enabled Metrowest to achieve a sustained period of growth while consistently maintaining the ability to get the job done. Through regular planning and training sessions with staff, Vin ensures Metrowest’s high level quality and safety commitments are achieved.
As a mentor to the Metrowest team, Vin puts to work more than three decades of industry experience and a vast knowledge of technical electrical design and installation. Vin leads Metrowest’s business development efforts, working closely with estimating and project teams through the processes of tendering, planning, identifying key requirements and programming works. Vin’s commitment to providing flexible solutions ensures that Metrowest is a trusted project partner to many in Western Australia.
Electrical & Communications
Clay is a founding member of Metrowest and has worked in the electrical and communications industry since the early 1980's. Clay has vast experience in critical power systems, particularly for the data centre industry. He is the Managing Director for both Metrowest Service and Metrowest Power Systems.
Clay is proud of the strong Metrowest culture built over the past 20 years and, along with his fellow directors, works hard to maintain this very important business ingredient.
As Finance Director and with the support of dedicated and loyal staff Peter's primary responsibility is of the financial and business services of the Metrowest Group. He is also Managing Director of the Group's property interests which include commercial property holdings and property development projects.
Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent his early professional years both in the profession and working in senior accounting and management roles. His passion however was real estate and after many years working for others and in his own real estate business he joined Metrowest in 1999 bringing an experience which helped shape the business and property aspirations of the Metrowest Group.
Finance and Property
Mark has many years of experience in the built environment, starting out as a tradesman and then working through to senior management roles in Design, Construction and Facilities Management. Mark has experience working both nationally and internationally and is able to translate design concepts into high quality and efficient facilities. Mark has managed a variety of commercial and industrial projects across a wide range of sectors including banking, military, government and tourism. He is particularly skilled in the construction and management of large data centres and can provide practical insight into the lifecycle challenges and solutions faced in these mission critical buildings.
Electrical and Communications
Paul plays a key role in the direction of Metrowest operations. His interest in communications and data centre design has influenced Metrowest’s expansion in these areas. He has also been instrumental in managing installation and commissioning systems in high risk environments. Paul’s experience combined with leadership and advanced management training equips him with a solid knowledge base with which to lead Metrowest’s major works. Paul is a leader in live data centre works, including alterations, upgrades and fit-outs.
