Details: CliniKids is a branch of the Telethon Kids Institute, and is Australia’s very first clinical service for children with early developmental delay and/or autism. The build included therapy rooms, a phlebotomy room, a creche, open plan office working space, meeting rooms and a reception / waiting room. For this incredibly important project, Metrowest gathered a specialist team with experience in designing Autism-friendly spaces. A significant contribution to the success of the project was ensuring the participation of key stakeholders in the design development: families, the Telethon Kids Institute and clinical staff worked together with Metrowest to ensure that every detail of the project would create a safe and calming environment for the children to enjoy.
Beringarra Way, Malaga
Metrowest undertook the base building and integrated fitout for this project. Fitout works included the upgrade from base building to fully operating Data Centre. This included significant services installation through to office and kitchen fitout. Fitout works duration was 4 months. Total project duration including base building was 12 months.
Mulgul Road, Malaga
As well as the base build, Metrowest undertook the integrated fitout for this project. The project duration was 12 months. The fitout saw an upgrade to fully operating Data Centre. The site area was 9, 441sqm over two levels of office space, data hall and services plant area. This is an award winning fitout.
RAC Collier Pass Call Centre, Joondalup
RAC WA needed to relocate two existing call centres into a purpose built facility to be able to continue to provide their current level of service to the public. Collier Pass was chosen as an appropriate candidate, with the location having been designed for similar use. Metrowest refurbished the interior of the building and upgraded services to be in line with today’s digitally driven communications requirements. The work achieved practical completion on time to a very tight schedule that saw no interruption to service provided to the clients.
Perth Airport HKew Bravo Gym and End of Trip Facilities
The project was completed in two stages with priority on completing the gym tenancy followed by the EOT facility. The project included the integration of a new fitout into the recently completed Hkew Bravo building. Metrowest were required to integrate the new services with a number of the base building services that were still under warranty. A number of procurement challenges were faced including the supply and installation of a new disabled lift to enable access from the EOT facilities direct to the gym. Even though some external delays were encountered Metrowest were able to accelerate the program and complete on time to meet the Client's intended completiondate.
Perth Airport Business Centre
Perth Airport Pty Ltd (PAPL) required the fit-out of a new business centre to support airport security and training. The work was undertaken in an operational building and required coordination with numerous PAPL stakeholders. A key element of this work was the demolition of an existing external wall to install a new automated sliding door for public access to the business centre.
Belmont Avenue, Belmont
The site area in Belmont was 717sqm. Metrowest completed a fitout for both the ground and mezzanine floors of a new office building in 5 weeks. The project involved services installation and complete office facilities for approximately 100 employees.
St Georges Terrace, Perth
This project was a refurbishment of the existing fitout. It included upgrades to amenities, work stations, services and new reception area. The total duration of the project was 3 months. The fitout was a full three levels over 700sqm per floor area.
