Ellenbrook Early Learning Centre
Metrowest completed Mercy Care's Ellenbrook Early Learning Centre in 2018 . The centre, designed by sph architecture + interiors, acommodates programs for 106 children aged between six weeks and six years. The build incorporates large play rooms, a dedicated dining room and activity space, wrap around verandas and a state of the art nature playground designed by a specialist Landscape Architect.
Beringarra Way, Malaga
This data centre was a specialised building designed to meet the stringent requirements of the US based Uptime Institute Tier 3 Rating and is the first in Western Australia to receive certification by the Uptime Institute for both design and construction. The 11,250sqm building achieved occupancy within 12 months of commencement. The brief included the base building construction and management of the fitout for the client.
Mulgul Road, Malaga
The Malaga Data Centre is one of Australia’s leading data centre facilities. The two story, 8000sqm facility incorporates cutting edge design and technology, and includes 9 mVa dual high voltage power supply and UPS backup, redundant plant and equipment, high energy efficiency design, continuous power capability, computerised building controls, ASIO rated security systems, and other unique features designed to comply with the rigorous International Data Centre Standard TIA942.
iFly Perth Indoor Skydiving Centre
Metrowest Constructions completed the design and construct of Perth’s first Indoor Sky Diving Facility in December 2016. Constructing to a tolerance of 3mm to enable wind speeds up to 270km/h and integrating the assembly and installation of more than 5,000 Client supplied components. The building consisted of a basement plenum plus Ground and 4 floors. The design and construction was accomplished in a compressed period of only 34 weeks exclusive of inclement weather delays; Achieving an accelerated completion allowing the client to open for business prior to Christmas.
Hobsons Gate, Currambine
Located in Perth's northern hub, the Currambine project was a ground plus first floor retail and office development. Metrowest undertook the design and construction of this project which included the basic fitout of the common area, lift and 13 tenancies each inclusive of a disabled bathroom and kitchen facilities. Approximate built area of 2,600sqm and carpark.
Belmont Avenue, Belmont
The Belmont project was a design and construct build of a new office and warehouse space. The team demolished the existing property and constructed a 500sqm office and 1,000sqm mezzanine warehouse. The project also included the refurbishment of a 1000sqm existing warehouse. The completion time was 10 months from design to certificate of completion.
Howe Street, Osborne Park
This brief was for the design and construct of a warehouse and office building to house a pharmaceutical prodcust manufacturer in Osborne Park. Metrowest installed 2000sqm of high bay shelving to the warehouse, as well as completing the two storey office and showroom area. Changes to the Building Act (WA) proved a challenge but were not enough to delay practical completion.
Albany Highway, Kenwick
A commercial build for Australia's leading Asian food importer and wholesaler, this project included three warehouses and a fourth 250sqm freezer room constructed as separate fire compartments as well as a sub tenancy for potential lunch bar with an office on top. This project presented many challenges including soil remediation, authority approvals, dewatering and installation of a new sub-station.
Yangebup Road, Yangebup
Divine Mercy College required the construction of a new school chapel and administration office as well as three new classrooms. Metrowest Constructions undertook the design and construction of this project inclusive of internal office fitout. This project was conducted safely in a working school environment without interrupting the school community. A challenge during the project was achieving the Fire Services design codes due to the continued growth of the school and capacity of the available system.
Murdoch University, Murdoch WA
This new build tavern on a live university campus was completed ahead of a very tight schedule. The tavern is built using a modern mix of coloured precast panels, architectural steel and glass, in situ concrete construction, as well as a range of quality finishes. The tavern includes two bars, dining facilities inside and out, cellar facilities and full commercial kitchen.
